So...Here is the famous Irish National Poughing Championships in Kilkenny Co Tipperary. My mom and I went here at the suggestion of my cousins PJ and Mary Hughes. We were amazed at how many people were there. And the nods of approval we got from locals who asked what we had done on our trip showed their approval. They seemed to like that we had not mentioned the Blarney Castle but had the spirit to go off the tourist tract to the Ploughing Championships!! Of course Mary and PJ are farmers and we also visited their farm and my family's ancestral farm too.
If you are following my blog you likely thought we only met the Callan twins. I apologize for seeming obsessed with them, they were very cute, but I only wanted to put them up once. If you recall I had my iPhone and as I was just learing that skill I thought that I had only posted one blog about them!! So what we learned here is that there is a learning curve to the iPhone and Blogging overseas. The biggest lesson came when I got the $738.00 phone bill. Ouch! One very important point is that you have to get the data plan. And asking for it from AT&T doesn't always get you there... So they did split the bill with me but still $370ish still hurts but not as bad!
The next photos are on the way to Cork via the coast. The chapel that is at Kylemore Abby, and our B&B in Galway.
There are many more photos, but if you are like Steve, you are sick of Ireland. So while I could go on forever, I will move on and show the ability to diversify and send other information!!
The best part of the trip was coming home to a brand new car in the drive!! Steve is such a great supriser!!! I was thrilled.

Hi Kim...it's Brianna. I found you through my Mom's blog and thought I would say hi! I love all these pictures, looks like you guys had a great time! And a new car when you got home...how sweet! I'd love to travel overseas one day, hoping to get back to Germany to see where I was born.
